Hi, I’m Ron Mason, owner of RWM Guitars in Middlesex County, Connecticut. As a luthier, I specialize in hand built custom electric guitars from reclaimed or locally sourced wood.
My love for guitars came later in life, first by starting to play guitar at the age of 30 (never too late!), then playing in bands, hot-rodding my own guitars, and later building a couple of kit-guitars. The greatest leap forward happened when I was mentored by Luthier Jamie Boss at his Woodstock, CT shop. It was then becoming a luthier took hold and my career path began to change — and I’m eternally grateful.
